My camera is not recording when it is charging

The cameras motion detection and recording will be automatically disabled when the camera is placed on charge. This is to ensure that the battery is charged as quickly and efficiently as possible. 

Once the charging cable is disconnected the motion detection will be enabled again and the camera will then start recording when triggered.


If you are not seeing recordings after the charging cable has been disconnected:


Is the camera turned on? To check this press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until you see the power LED flash red or green. If the LED flashes green the camera is now on and should start recording. If the power LED flashes red the camera is now off, press and hold the power button again for 5 seconds until you see the LED flash green to turn the camera on. 


Is motion detection turned on? This can be checked on the cameras settings page in the Moobox app. When motion detection is enabled the slider will be blue and to the right. For help with how to check this click here.
